The I.E. Lichtigfeld School at the Philanthropin was established in 1966. There has been a Jewish School at the Philanthropin since 1804. The building in which the school is housed was dedicated in 1908 – therefore it is 100 years old.

With dance and songs, pupils celebrated the 61st Anniversary of Israel's Independence.
